It's about two childhood friends from South Boston who are forced to survive the tough streets of South Boston through a life of petty thievery. This ultimately strains their lives and friendship. Brotherhood poster Brian played Silent John O'Keefe on the Showtime series Brotherhood. Set in an Irish neighborhood in Providence, the series reflected around two brothers on opposite sides of the law: one a gangster and the other a politician. Silent John was a " personal enforcer". He's a very intimidating guy! For a peek at the show check out these fan videos, they show Brian's character. Warning: some of the videos show graphic violence so if that's something that bothers you then skip it. This series premiered on July 9th, 2006 and ran for three seasons. Season one and two are available on DVD. Season 3 is now available on DVD. (update 11.10.09)

 

Black Russian movie poster Black Russian is an independent film in which Brian plays a gangster named Eddie living in Los Angeles. The film is described as being "a satirical look at the American dream gone mad." It's the story of an American gangster named Nick Anderson, who writes the biography of "Ivan the Terrible", a Russian mobster he meets while in prison. Things take a turn when the men betray each other's trust during the course of writing and publishing the novel. This movie is currently in post production. Below is a preview. Pineapple Express poster Brian plays a thug, in this action/dark comedy Pineapple Express. In this movie a stoner and his dealer are forced to go on the run from the police after the pothead witnesses a cop commit a murder. This film opened in theatres August 6th, 2008 and is currently available on DVD. (update 1.10.09)

 

The Alphabet Killer movie poster The film The Alphabet Killer finally finds Brian playing a good guy. In the film, a drama/thriller Brian plays Jay Castillo the father of a murdered girl. How refreshing to see Brian play a good guy! It's a limited release film that premiered in November 2008 in Los Angeles. In December it showed in New York. It is currently available on DVD. Gone Baby Gone movie poster Brian's first film role was playing Lenny, a "tough guy" brawler/bar patron. Gone Baby Gone, which was Ben Affleck's directorial debut, is based on a novel by the author of "Mystic River." It is an intense look inside an ongoing investigation about the mysterious disappearance of a little girl in a very ugly world. As is usually the case, nothing is what it seems. Brian's role in this movie was small but memorable. The film stars Casey Affleck, Michelle Monagahan, Morgan Freeman, Ed Harris and Amy Ryan. This film opened in the U.S. on April 19th, 2007. The DVD was released on February 12th, 2008. (update 4.10.08)
